Welcome to 2024!
We have been talking with couples about their weddings for a while now and we are starting to see some 2024 wedding flower trends emerge. Some are trends we see industry wide and others are specific to weddings here in Central Oregon. Here’s a round up of the ones we are so excited for!
Ground florals and illusion arch floral
Central Oregon is famous for our gorgeous mountain views. We love creating ceremony flowers that let those views take center stage! As a bonus, those flowers can be moved after your ceremony to accent areas in your reception space. Prime spots include your sweetheart table, the cake table, the bar or your seating chart wall. We love flowers that can do double duty!
Aisle florals
Luxe flower lined aisles are a dream to walk down. These can be reused as well but it can be a bit trickier. We have had great success moving them to the floor in front of the head table or the band. They can also be elevated on stands to change up the look from ceremony to reception!
Cosmos everywhere in 2024
If there is an “it girl” for this season, she is the Cosmo. She can be delicate and floaty, but still down to earth with her cute girl next door daisy looks. She loves to hang out with her little bubbly friend Chamomile!
Garden party style
Cosmo is coming to 2024 weddings and she’s bringing all her garden friends! Scabiosa, zinnia, ranunculus, orlaya, penny cress, Queen Anne’s lace, dahlias – the ladies change with the seasons and this trend is all about seasonality. As a bonus, these flowers grow well for our flower farmers here in Central Oregon – including in our own cutting garden.
Wedding flowers in full Color!
Couples are embracing color and we are here for it! From wild and whimsical bright color mixes to a stunning wedding in shades of purple, we have enjoyed some fun and beautiful color palettes this season.
Pantone’s 2024 color of the year, Peach Fuzz
Speaking of color, how about the Pantone 2024 color of the year, Peach Fuzz? There are so many options to use this warm, sweet color. We can see it with brighter corals, with pale pinks and blush, with yellows or even with lavender tones. What would you pair it with?
Pocket square boutonnieres
The pocket square style of boutonniere is not new, but it is really having a moment in 2024. It’s such a cool way to work more textures and elements into a relatively small floral piece to wear. Truly a piece of art!
Bud vases and pin frogs for on trend minimalist looks
We love reception spaces that mix round and banquet style tables and mixing centerpiece elements on those tables as well. We have a large assortment of single stem vases and love mixing them on tables with candles, greenery, fabrics, larger centerpieces, paper products, favors, branches, fruit, natural elements…. so many options!
